Kahun Danda is located in the Kahun Danda village committee in the northeast of the beautiful city Pokhara. It is at 1444 m above sea level. A panoramic view of the snow-capped mountains of the Annapurna range can be seen from this place. From the view tower, you can see better views of the surroundings, Rhododendron forest (The national flower of Nepal). View Tower is the main attraction of Kahun Danda also known as Kahun Dharahara. Pokhara City can also be seen from this hilltop. Nearby the view tower there is a famous temple known as Kahunkot deurali. There is a Gurung settlement in the southern part of this hilltop. Beautiful sunrise, sunset views can be seen.

Kahun Danda Hiking
Kahun Danda hike is a short one-day hike that starts after crossing the bridge at Seti Powerhouse. The trail goes by the army barracks at Phulbari across Mahendrapul. After crossing the army barracks one will climb a slope. This location is at the bottom of Kahun village. It is a 2-3 hour hike passing through a beautiful village and Rhododendron forest. It is an appropriate place for a day hike.

It is about a half-hour bus drive from Prithvi Chowk and about 7 km from Mahendra Pool.
