The Everest Dudhkoshi cultural trail was inaugurated at the end of 2023. This trekking trail offers a unique cultural experience and views of the mountains including Mt. Everest. This trekking could be completed in 4 nights and 5 days. It is also known as the Everest Dudh Koshi Cultural Trek. This trekking trail is the newly opened trekking route in the lower Everest region that begins from Silgudi Danda in the Mapya Dhudh Koshi rural municipality and ends in Thul Dunga.

Day 01: Silgudi Danda
Silgudi Danda (3020 m) of Mapya Dudhkoshi Rural Municipality. From Silgudi one can get a beautiful view of Everest. Night at Goth Stay in Siliguri Hills.
Day 02: Silgudi Danda to Gumne mera gumba
Tengmiten Choling Monastery is one of the attraction in Gumne mera.
Day 03: Gumne mera – Kudham to Yotolme
Day 04: Yotolme to Thul Dunga
Day 05: Thul Dunga to Silgudi Danda
For accommodation, there are many hotels in Saleri and Goth Stay in Siliguri hills. In Yotolme you’ll find a shelter where you can cook and eat in the shelter. You can also go to Mera Peak and Everest Base Camp from this trail.

How to reach?
Saleri, headquarters of Solukhumbu can be reached from Kathmandu by air or by land. By four-wheeler, it may take approximately 10-12 hours and 35 minutes by air.
