Daunne Devi Temple (दाउन्ने देवी) is located in Dumkibas VDC, Nawalparasi. A three-storied Hindu temple of Goddess Durga is believed to be established by Jung Bahadur Rana. Newly married couples visit this temple for their happy married life. Daunne Hill area was also known as Trikut Parbat. Daunne Devi Temple is a religious tourist attraction.

In ancient times, Daunne Hill was known as Trikut Parbat. It lies 1033 m above the sea above. Many people have visited this place for meditation purposes such as Valmiki and Mayadevi (mother of Buddha). Devotees from different parts of the country and also devotees from India visit here. Fair is held in this area during festivals like Dashain and Chaite Dashain.

Daunne hill

There is a hill between Dumkibas and Bardaghat of Nawalparasi district which is known as Daunne hill. Different parts of Nawalparasi district can be seen from this place. There is also a picnic spot. During the rule of Baise-Chaubise states in Nepal, this place used to be part of the Palpa state.
