Jagadulla Lake is located at Jagdulla Rural Municipality in Dolpa, the largest district in Nepal covering 5.36% of the total landmass of the country. It is at a height of 4700 meters, in the western Karnali Province. This undiscovered tourist destination in the Dolpa region is the starting point of the Jagadulla River.
Dolpa is the mystical destination known for its snow-capped peaks, stunning lakes, waterfalls, wildlife etc. On the way, you’ll find beautiful grasslands and meet shepherds. This is also a place where Yarchagumba (medicinal herb) is found during its seasons. There is another lake near Jagadulla Lake which is known as Racches (राक्षस) daha and it is in a heart shape. It is one of the important pilgrimage sites for Hindus and Buddhists. You’ll see beautiful snow-capped mountains from this place.

Day 1: Flight or Drive from Kathmandu to Nepalgunj
Day 2: Flight from Nepalgunj to Juphal, Dolpa and to Liku
Day 3: Trek from Liku to Hurikot
Day 4: Trek from Hurikot to Jagadulla Lake
Day 5: Explore Lake and Relax
Day 6: Trek Back to Hurikot
Day 7: Drive to Jumla
It is 7 days trek from Kathmandu. You can take a flight or a bus to go to Nepalgunj from Kathmandu. It will take approximately 10-12 hours by road to reach Nepalgunj. After reaching Nepalgunj there is a flight from Nepalgunj to Juphal Airport in Dolpa and then drive to Likhu. Juphal Airport is a gateway of Dolpa at Tripurasundari Rural municipality of Dolpa district. From Likhu trek begins to Hurikot, Kaigaun. There is no settlements in higher altitudes and you’ll not find any hotels. From Kaigaun you’ll reach Jagadulla Lake.
