Jarsing Pauwa popular tourist attraction in Nepal

Jarsing Pauwa or Lapshiphedi is located at Sankhu at an altitude of 1792 m. It is one of the emerging tourist destinations near Kathmandu Valley. This place is also popular for hiking, picnics, camping, and other activities. Tea Garden which is also known as Mini Illam is also nearby.

It is 22 km from Kathmandu and 7 km far from Sankhu. Beautiful villages can be seen on the way. You will view deep valleys, lush green forests, villages, birds singing and terraced fields. Hiking starts at Sankhu which is a popular religious place in the north of Kathmandu. Walking uphill from the Sankhu, passing through natural and historical places you will reach Jarsing Pauwa.
